My Mum was the middle child of May and Bert Harvey, she had an older brother called Bernard, and a
young sister Kathleen, she would often tell me has a child how much she loved her brother and
sister, although she would often have fights with her brother, has most of us do when young.Mum told
us how much she adored her little sis,and how she would make her sister clothes for her dolls, and
furniture out of matchsticks for her dolls house, she would tell us how much her sister Kathleen
would love them. Mum was very artistic and spent many a day painting, drawing making things from
nothing, she was very good. When young i have lovely memories of my Mum making fancy dress costumes
either for myself,or other people, intime though people would stop inviting her to their
parties, because of her costumes she made, has they would very often win,we would often laugh about
that! Our Mum was a loving, caring, kind, good natured lady, and would often put others before
herself, she wouldnt turn anyone away!! Mum had five children,Dawn,Darren,Donna,Mandy and
Michael, twelve grandchildren......her grandchildren where her world and she loved baking for
them, cakes, pies, anything, and loved having them come and stay with her for the weekend, she would
spoil them rotten! She loved her holiday's with her youngest daughter Mandy and her family, walks
along the beach collecting shells, just spending time with the grandchildren...Mum got so excited
telling us about her upcoming holidays, and how she was looking forward to going, how she enjoyed
taking long walks along the beach etc. Because of all the baking she done for her grandchildren, she
was known to them has "Nana cake"! Mum became quite religious has she got older, and loved going to
her church meetings and outings, where she made quite a few friends,it was lovely seeing her face
light up when she told us the latest goings on....she had the most beautiful, amazing blue eye's,with
a lovely twinkle in them. Our Mum is missed by us all so much.WE love you Mum!Reunited with her
grandson Corey who sadly was stillborn.Love you both xxxx

i love you like s**t

in happy times and hard times. you was always there with a smile on your face or with open arms if needed. you always knew when something was not right and in your own little way you fixed it. but some people might think saying such things as i love you like s**t would be a strange thing to say lol. but we both knew what it ment and in an odd way it always helped and did the trick.or even just a quick look through an open window would tell me you.d always be there. but these are just little things that we take for granted in everyday life but when these little things are gone and you know in your hearts that never again will you hear or see these little things you do.and that all is left is to remember come good times and bad times one thing is true you was always there and well we just want to say mum we all LOVE YOU LIKE S**T LOL XXX XXX love you always and your always in are hearts love michael abbie callum kyra x

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

At the rising sun and at its going down we remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter we remember them.
At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring we remember them.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer we remember them.
At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of the autumn we remember them.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends we remember them.
As long as we live, they too will live, for they are now a part of us. As we remember them. When we are weary and in need of strength we remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart we remember them.
When we have decisions that are difficult to make we remember them.
When we have joy we crave to share we remember them.
When we have achievements that are based on theirs we remember them.
For as long as we live, they too will live,
For they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

Recipe for Christmas All Year Long

♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫

Take a heap of child-like wonder
That opens up our eyes
To the unexpected gifts in life—
Each day a sweet surprise.
Mix in fond appreciation
For the people whom we know;
Like festive Christmas candles,
Each one has a special glow.
Add some giggles and some laughter,
A dash of Christmas food,
(Amazing how a piece of pie
Improves our attitude!)
Stir it all with human kindness;
Wrap it up in love and peace,
Decorate with optimism, and
Our joy will never cease.
If we use this healthy recipe,
We know we will remember
To be in the Christmas spirit,
Even when it's not December.

As Christmas time approaches
We miss you more and more
Memories of past Yule times
We always will adore
We still hang the decorations
Put the lights upon the tree
We hang the cards upon the wall
This one's for you, you see
Even though you are not here
You're always in our hearts
So we remember you this Christmas
While we're temporarily apart.

♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫♥♫

I've set your place at the table
Your presents wrapped under the tree
Christmas carols playing
But you're not here with me
It seems harder this time of year
I miss you so much more
The only thing that gets me through
Are the memories of before
So here's a card just for you
To show how much I care
I know your waiting with the angels
One day I'll see you there.

Thoughts Today Memories Forever

Dreaming of you

I dreamt of you last night mum, it was coming up to Christmas and I was thinking what could I get you, then this thought popped into my head, you would love a sketch book full of drawings that your grandchildren had done, so I set about getting it already, going round and getting all the kids to do a picture for you. Once it was complete I wrapped it with bows and love.
only I woke this morning and knew that you would not be here to receive it. Christmas is not the same as there are no presants for you under our tree anymore.
I can remember the last Christmas that we had together, me and Craig mixed all the presents up so that the kids had to read who they were for and you sat there waiting for your name to be called, you were like a little kid LOL.
Every day I miss you and my heart aches just hear your voice or touch your hand.

Love you always mum

Mother

Your Mother is alway's with you...

She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.

She's the smell of bleach in your freshly
laundered socks.

She's the cool hand on your brow
when you're not well.

Your Mother lives inside your laughter,
she's crystallized in every teardrop.

She's the place you come from, your first home
She's the map you follow with every step you take.

She's your first love, and your first heartbreak,
and nothing on earth can seperate you.

Not time, not space, not even death, will ever seperate you from your Mother.

You carry her inside of you.

A beautiful poem given to me from my sister Mandy for our Mum.xx

Psalm 23

1.The LORD is my shepard;i have everything i need.

2.He lets me rest in fields of green grass, and he leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.

3.He gives me knew strength. He guides me in the right paths,as he has promised.

4.Even if i go through the deepest darkness,i will not be afraid,Lord, for you are with me.Your shepards rod and staff protect me.

5.You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me;you welcome me as an honoured guest and fill my cup to the brim.

6.I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and your house will be my home as long has i live.

This was taken from a bookmark that my Mum had!!

Mum i know that when it is my turn to leave this world, you will be there waiting for me with open arms, and i will happily go running into them, for i miss you so much and long to see you once again. Love you with all of my heart, tell grandma i love her too,all my love forever.Dawn xxxxxxxxxx
